1.Stern über Bethlehem, zeig uns den Weg,

führ uns zur Krippe hin, zeig wo sie steht,

leuchte du uns voran, bis wir dort sind,

Stern über Bethlehem, führ uns zum Kind.

2.Stern über Bethlehem, nun bleibst du stehn

und lässt uns alle das Wunder hier sehn,

das da geschehen, was niemand gedacht,

Stern über Bethlehem, in dieser Nacht.

denn dieser arme Stall birgt doch so viel!

Help us to follow where Thou still dost guide,

Pilgrims of earth so wide.

3. Star of the East, thou hope of the soul,

While round us here the dark billows roll,

Lead us from sin to glory afar,

Thou star of the East, thou sweet Bethlehem's star.

4. Star of the East, un-dim'd by each cloud,

What tho' the storms of grief gather loud?

Faithful and pure thy rays beam to save,

Sao miền xa vời, sao Bết-lê-hem xưa

Hãy đưa dắt đường cho đến nơi trời cao

Đau khổ ưu sầu tiêu tan dưới ánh sao

Sao đem hy vọng về với bao người sống lầm than

An tâm không xao xuyến ta cùng ngắm trông sao

Ngôi sao tôn quý muôn muôn đời sáng soi

Xin luôn luôn đưa dắt trên mọi lối dương gian

Mọi bước gian nan trong đời

Sao miền xa vời nguồn ánh sáng tâm linh

Khi ngọn sóng cuồng dâng khắp cả mọi nơi

Xin đưa dắt từ tăm tối đến vinh quang

Ngôi sao hy vọng từ Bết-lê-hem chốn xa
